Adventure Day Camp

Adventure Day Camp is a traditional day camp for children ages 4-14. In a low pressure, relaxed atmosphere, children gain confidence and skills in a wide range of camp activities, including arts, sports, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, tennis, horseback riding, archery, climbing, drama, music, hiking, overnight campout, and much more! Children are assigned to small groups with one adult counselor and home transportation is available from most local areas, including Piedmont.

Edventure Tech, a camp for entering 5th-9th graders, features week-long digital music, movies and animation sessions designed by the Bay Area’s premiere technology and arts organizations ®Zeum and the ®Bay Area Video Coalition (BAVC). Themed weeks include Hip-Hop Beats-create an album featuring original rhymes, loops and liner notes; Digital Movie Making-write, direct, produce, edit and star in an original short film; 2-D Animated Comics-sketch, draw or cut-out comic strip characters and turn them into short cartoon episodes; and 3-D Clay Animation-breathe life into a ball of clay using stopmotion techniques and feature your clay hero in a short animation movie. Every day includes time to hang out with friends and staff as well as outdoor recreation activities. Camp runs M-F, 9am-3:30pm. Regular Price: 2-D Animated Comics: $550/week (plus $50 lab fee); 3-D Clay Animation: $550/week (plus $50 lab fee); Hip Hop Beats: $550/week (plus $50 lab fee); Digital Movie Making $600 (plus $60 lab fee)

MONART Drawing Studio camps are designed for imaginative campers 6-12 years of age, at all levels of experience, who love to draw, be creative and have fun with like-minded friends. Your young artist will have the opportunity to explore one of six engaging themes through drawing and craft projects: Ocean Exploration, Horse Camp, Myths & Magic, Cartoons & Clay, Africa Adventure, or Art About Me. Berkeley Chess Summer Camp


Summer chess camp, 1:00-5:00 M-W at the Berkeley Chess School.
